Festivities in Lisbon

Though the seaside city wasn’t covered in snow, it certainly was lovely to enjoy the holidays in Lisbon. It truly did feel like “the most wonderful time of the year”. The christmas markets served the most amazing churros and chestnuts, there were random Santa’s walking around everywhere, christmas music was playing in all the malls and stores, it was pretty darn cute if you ask me. The nativity scenes were also pretty interesting, as i hadn’t seen a lot of those in the past (Back home, in Istanbul nor in Paris). It’s safe to say that Lisbon is a pretty calm and comfortable place to spend the holidays.

Here are some photos i took around during that time! Happy 2017!

Fun fact: The typical Portuguese Christmas meal comprises of boiled codfish, boiled cabbage and boiled potatoes! Talk about a healthy meal!!

*This fact is not fun for masala-obsessed desi people. FYI

HAPPY 2017 once again! 😘
